The 23-year-old is regarded as one of Europe’s finest
midfielders and considering his age, it is rather frightening for many
opponents just how good the France international could become
Pogba’s
fine form in recent campaigns has prompted plenty of speculation about
his future, although the colossal midfielder has verv rarely commented
on the rumours and has instead let his football do the talking.
However,
it seems almost a matter of time before one of the continent’s titans
get their hands on Pogba and the champions of Europe could be that side,
with Perez admitting a move for the midfielder is certainly not off the
cards.
“Pogba is a great player, but in midfield we have six
great players, so I would not want to discuss speculation,” Perez told
reporters (via Goal).“While he excites me, it is difficult to reach agreements if there are no termination clauses [in a player’s contract].
“If a player such as him [Pogba] is available, we may go for him, but would have to reach an agreement.
“It is very difficult to bring someone [in]. I’ll talk to [Zinedine] Zidane. Our obligation is to be much better every year. He will decide if we can get someone better than we have.”
Pogba has
proven he has an array of tools in his locker, registering 12 assists,
scoring eight goals and creating a hefty 54 chances in Serie A this
season.
Pogba left Manchester United for Turin in 2012
after struggling for game time under Sir Alex Ferguson and the Old
Lady’s No.10 has excelled since moving to Italy.
The
attacking midfielder has won the Serie A title in every single season he
has been with the Bianconeri, but there have been suggestions he may
look to try something different ahead of the next campaign.
